 Troubleshooting

No Power or Display:

Ensure that the cooktop is properly plugged into a functioning electrical outlet.

Check the circuit breaker or fuse box to ensure there is power to the outlet.

Test the outlet with another appliance or device to confirm it is working.

Pan Compatibility:

Verify that you are using cookware with a magnetic bottom, such as stainless steel or cast iron. Induction cooktops only work with compatible cookware.

Pan Placement:

Ensure that the cookware is centered and placed correctly on the cooking zone. Some models may require precise alignment.

Pan Detection:

Make sure the cooktop's pan detection feature is functioning correctly. Clean the cooking surface and pan bottom to remove any debris that might interfere with detection.

Temperature Control:

Check that you are operating the cooktop with the correct temperature settings.

Ensure that the cookware is making good contact with the cooktop surface for efficient heat transfer.

Overheating or Shutdown:

If the cooktop overheats or shuts down, wait for it to cool down and then restart it. Overheating can occur if the cooking zone is empty or if the cookware is not suitable for induction.

Timer Functions:

If using timer functions, ensure that the timer is set correctly and that it has not reached the end of the countdown.

Cleaning:

Clean the cooktop surface regularly to remove spills, grease, and debris. A dirty surface can affect performance.

Use cleaning agents recommended by the manufacturer to avoid damage.

Ventilation:

Ensure that the kitchen has adequate ventilation to remove steam, fumes, and odors generated during cooking.

Error Codes:

If your induction cooktop displays an error code or message, consult the user manual to identify the issue and follow the recommended steps for troubleshooting.

Professional Service:

If the problem persists and you are unable to resolve it through basic troubleshooting, contact the manufacturer's customer support or an authorized service technician for assistance.
